Spotlight on the Balkans

Three Members of BAHA, the Balkan Alliance of Hotel Associations, officially joined IH&RA at a ceremony held on 11 March at Hotel Jasmin in Sofia, just prior to the IH&RA Board and NACE meetings. The three organisations are HORES, the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Serbia, MHA, the Hotel Association of Montenegro and UHR, the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The ceremony brought together Mr.Branko Krivokapic, Director of HORES, Mrs Dragika Drekalovic representing the Montenegrin Hotel Association, an official representative of UHR Bosnia & Herzegovina, as well as Mr Donco Tanevski, President of the Hotel Association of Macedonia and also of the Balkan Alliance of Hotel Associations BAHA who had joined IH&RA earlier in the year.

IH&RA extends a very warm welcome to these new Members from this vibrant region now firmly focused on developing its rich tourism potential.
