Mr Frangialli will address delegates at the Opening Ceremony on the theme "Latest Trends & Developments in the International Tourism Industry - and Forthcoming Challenges". As we draw towards the end of yet another very eventful year for the tourism industry the time is right to review the year in numbers - and analyse the impact of some key events, including the many natural disasters and crises which have occurred across the globe.
Mr Bryden will speak on the "Functioning & Mandate of the International Organization for Standardization" generally and specficially on the role of international standards in areas directly and indirectly affecting the tourism industry.
Focusing on the region, Mr Omar Razzaz, Director-General of the Jordanian Social Security Corporation and former Regional Director of the World Bank in Lebanon, will speak on the "Current Business Climate in Jordan". Given his extensive experience at the World Bank and his knowledge of the Middle East, Mr Razzaz will be able to put local developments into an international perspective.
