On the public sector side, Mr Francesco Frangialli, Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organisation, will be honoured for hiw work on behalf of the tourism industry and for securing recognition for tourism's importance within the UN system.
Mr Alan Bryden, Secretary-General of the International Organization for Standardization, will be formally recognised for his key role in improving quality in the hospitality industry.
On the private sector side, Dr Osmane Aïdi, IH&RA Honorary President, will be recognised for his 50 years of achievement in the hotel industry in 3 different continents.
Mr Hervé Houdré, Regional Vice-President for the North East of the USA, InterContinental Hotel Group, will be recognised for his contribution to the Sustainable Development of the Hospitality Industry.
