Have restructured the business from one office in the USA to a global business with offices in New York, Orlando, Portland, London, Dubai, Madrid, Munich, Singapore, and Shanghai and tripled revenues in the past year. Focus is on advice to entrepreneurs/owners/developers/operators developing and operating resorts with a high-end  residential component via direct whole ownership sales, condo-hotels, villas, timeshare, fractional, private residence clubs and destination clubs.
The functional area of expertise includes construction and development, project management, finance, operations management, market and financial feasibility, business modeling and planning, implementation, over all strategy, sales and marketing plans, capital raising, and individual and portfolio hotel and resort acquisitions and disposals. Responsible for all integrated operations including direct marketing, quality and excellence, revenue and inventory management, finance, fleet acquisition  management including nautical and hospitality operations, planning and control for this major luxury  cruise line consisting of 27 owned ships and 18 chartered ships carrying over 200,000 passengers and accounting for $ 600 million in revenue and $30 million in profits, all company records representing a major turnaround and return to profitability. Employees total over 4000 based in Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa, North and South America, the South Pacific, and Egypt.
Started up a 360-passenger cruise operation in Tahiti including land and lodging operations through acquisition of the M/s Paul Gauguin.
Responsible for acquisitions of four major ship operating companies in a Russia, France, the Galapagos and the Bahamas, including Continental Waterways which doubled fleet capacity in 12 months.

Established and built this five-star luxury, integrated resort and hotel development company from scratch with global financial partners. Sold to a group of private European investors in late 2000. Responsible for overall leadership of this US$ one billion fully integrated resort and hotel management, development and owning company with seven operating units and 2000 employees in Spain, the Caribbean and Central America targeting the high-end individual travelers with a primary emphasis on resort residential sales in the form of whole ownership villas, condo-hotels and high-end fractional. Built a team from scratch for all mixed use  hotel and resort operating, development, construction, project management and purchasing functions as well as  resort real estate sales and marketing  functions encompassing hotels, casinos, marinas, golf courses, villa/vacation ownership and condo developments, hotel training schools, cruise ship terminals, retail outlets and conference and meeting facilities. Personally spear-headed corporate strategy and development, acquisitions, site selection, project management, contract negotiations, legal affairs, local government affairs, and shareholder/main board relations.  Have good in-depth knowledge of all global hotel and resort real estate markets including North and South America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia and the European/Mediterranean hotel and resort markets.

Chief Executive for this luxury, five-star integrated resort and hotel owning and development company. Owned four properties, two by acquisition, two by development.  All properties had diversified multi-stream income sources through marinas, retail outlets, conference facilities, hotels, villa-condo real estate sales, golf courses and sporting facilities, including the innovative fractional marina program.  Headed the acquisition, expansion and financing of the golf, villa and St. Regis Hotel site adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel Hotel in California as well as for the acquisition by public takeover of the 6,000 acre, 300 room hotel Princeville Resort together with its three PGA golf courses, a US$ 400 million residential project with over 6,000 residential units of all types. Also responsible for the management of the US$ 180 million /294-room  Mirage Gold Coast resort and 300 room/US$ 250 million Mirage Port Douglas Resort at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  Mirage was valued at US$ 2 billion prior to sale private sale in 1991 and had 1500 employees.
