The Codex Alimentarius Commission on Food Labelling (CCFL) convened for its annual meeting in Ottawa at the beginning of May. Despite strong lobbying from the Foodservice industry CCFL decided to press ahead with the drafting of a definition of advertising as related to health and nutrition claims.
